Doug Stegall, Fieldale resident and historian, will be sharing some of the history of the village. Doug's tales of Fieldale take us on a journey that includes Fieldale's place in the textile industry, Fieldcrest Mills, the great depression, WWII and many of the special personalities that helped form this mill town. Join us on Sunday, Aug 18th at 3:00 PM for this history of Fieldale during the 100th anniversary of the founding of Fieldcrest Mills.
