On August 26, 2015, Martinsville native Alison Parker's life was tragically cut short by gun violence. While mourning the loss of his daughter, Andy Parker, Alison's father, chose to take a stand against gun violence. He continues that fight today in his daughter's memory. Come out to the Martinsville Library on Monday, April 1st at 5:30 pm for a book talk & signing for Andy Parker's new book, "For Alison." Join in the conversation as Andy recounts his advocacy for gun control and remember the life of his daughter. Books will be available for purchase. Refreshments will be provided. All are welcome.
