Founders' Day event is to celebrate the founding of Henry County in 1778. We will explore through a unique program the lives of historic figures who contributed to the first operation of Henry County, Virginia. The program is meant to educate but also look at these historical figures in a new light. Funds raised will be used to support future educational activities and exhibits, as well as preserve the history of Martinsville and Henry County. Tickets are $20. They can be purchased at the Visitor Center at NCI, Heritage Center & Museum Tues and Fri. 1-4 and MHCHS Board Members.
